"I have 30 must-have photos from my photo session. What am I going to do with them?!". That's a question we get quite often. After picking out photos for canvas or metal prints for the walls and smaller prints for display around the home or office, plus some for the relatives, what does happen to all the other great photos? "Do a book" is usually our answer. The design of every book is unique because we start with blank pages. No templates or throwing your photos into an earlier design. The design is based on the photos and the personality of the person in them.
The book in the video is called a "Young Book". It is printed by Graphistudio in Italy. We have been using their services since 2001. This is one of their new products, and we love the presentation style with the solid box encasing either an 8 x 12' book or a 9-1/2 x 13" book (okay, they make an even larger one, but we won't go into that here!). Every part of it is customizable. The outside can be anything from leather to a maple woodgrain look (in your choice of colors) to linen, neon or any custom color. It can have designs on it, or a photo. The same pretty much goes for the inside lid of the box. And then the book, of course, has a whole set of possibilities, including raised varnished lettering and colored page edges. I'm just skimming the surface!
Of course, we still do the books we've done before, so it's your choice. Here are a few photos. Note: the tiny one requires a magnifying glass!
